Paula Gonzalez (she/her/ella)

Clinical Director, Registered Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor | MCP, CCS, RP

Life can feel heavy when anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt start to take over. You may find yourself constantly overthinking, second-guessing your decisions, or feeling like you’re never doing enough, no matter how hard you try. Over time, this can lead to exhaustion, irritability, or a sense of disconnection from yourself and the people around you. Does this sound like you?

In therapy, my goal is to create a space where you can exhale—where you feel understood, grounded, and supported to make sense of what’s been weighing on you. Most importantly, you will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to help you understand what is happening, why it’s happening, and what you need.

Many of my clients are high-achieving, caring individuals who are used to holding it all together for others, yet quietly feel overwhelmed or uncertain inside. Together, we unpack the patterns that contribute to stress and self-doubt, and begin to build new ways of relating to yourself that feel more balanced and compassionate.

With over 10 years of experience, I help adults navigate anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and life transitions using an integrative approach that draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), among others. Our work might focus on understanding emotional triggers, reconnecting with your needs and values, and learning practical tools to help you feel more at ease in your daily life.

Therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and realign. It’s a space to rediscover your strengths, process difficult emotions, and develop a kinder relationship with yourself.

As a Registered Psychotherapist, my areas of focus include:
Anxiety & Burnout | Self-Doubt & Perfectionism | Life Transitions | Healing from Past Trauma

If you’re ready to start feeling more grounded and confident in yourself, I offer a free 20-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. I’d be honoured to support you in creating meaningful change and a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

I was born in South America and came to Canada at a young age – I’m very proud of my roots!

Outside of therapy, I enjoy exploring new restaurants, spending time in nature or with my loved ones, and watching trashy reality TV or crime documentaries.
