Cancellation Policy

All interactions with your therapist at Infinite Horizons Psychotherapy, including the scheduling of your appointments, your attendance, the content of your sessions, your progress in therapy, and your records, are confidential. Your therapist cannot disclose or release any information about you or your file to any third parties unless they receive your signed authorization in writing permitting them to do so. Please note that there are some limits to the confidentiality policy, where your therapist would have a duty to breach confidentiality and report to the appropriate authorities in the following scenarios: There are reasonable grounds to believe that there is a risk of imminent harm to yourself or specifically identified others and/or the abuse of children or vulnerable adults; There are reasonable grounds to believe that a member of a regulated health profession has sexually abused a client; When disclosure is ordered by a court. If your therapist is concerned about you or if you fail to show for a scheduled appointment, they will contact you to check on your well-being.
