Sound familiar?
Perfectionism can feel like living with an invisible weight - the constant pressure to do more, be more, and never mess up. On the outside, you might look like you have it all together, but inside, there’s a quiet and paralyzing panic: “What if I fail?” “What if they find out I’m not enough?”
You set impossibly high standards and still feel like you’re falling short. Rest doesn’t feel earned. Accomplishments bring only fleeting relief before the next goal takes over. You might overthink every decision, second-guess your work, or avoid taking risks altogether. And no matter how hard you try, that inner critic always has something to say. It’s exhausting, lonely, and unsustainable - but it doesn’t have to stay this way. Therapy offers a space to step off the treadmill, soften the self-judgment, and learn that you are worthy, even when you’re not perfect. You can learn to embrace imperfection without losing your drive!
